Cookie Haus is a new café on the bustling streets of York, UK. From humble beginnings of a small market stall in Germany, Cookie Haus grew to be beloved by thousands, allowing them to expand to be a successful café which then grew to be international!
The bakery is the main selling point of this business. Made from long standing family recipes, perfected by grandma, Cookie Haus prides themselves in making their base ingredients from scratch, yes, even the flour. Each pastry and dessert is made fresh daily which is the perfect thing to enjoy with your coffee, tea, or even hot chocolate.
Colours
The main thing I had to consider when choosing colours for Cookie Haus is if the secondary colours would look good with their signature colour “Gunmetal”.
Thus this colour palette was created. The three browns were mainly used to create the actual cookie logo and text colour, where as the cream (Antique White) was used on the product packaging to act as a distinctively different colour to break up the artwork.
Logos
Cookie Haus want their signature colour to be Gunmetal, mainly for packaging reasons. For this reason, I’ve created a few logo variations that will stand out on the Gunmetal colour. The text colour is completely changeable to fit whatever background colour it is placed on.
This then creates many variations the brand can use to fit nearly any layout situation whilst keeping their brand identity.
